Low-light

Low light photography is my favourite medium because I love the contrast of bright light set against inky black surroundings and the unique mellow colours….and the difficulty involved in getting the perfect exposure. And then the chance to take wonderful HDR (High Dynamic Range) shots like the first shot here: the light here may look good but in practice it was almost dark.

Some of the shots showing stars or star trails may have exposures of over 30 minutes.
